What is multiculturalism?

 Multiple cultural traditions in a country, usually considered in terms of the culture associated with an  ethnic group and foreigner ethnic groups.

There are more than 200 hundred countries in this world and two of them have the biggest multiculturalism which is UK and US. Both UK and US the people are more influenced about the:

Variety of culture

 difference music, food, celebration. The people have difference background culture when we talk both US and UK, they both have a large society people who have celebrate, difference food, music and clothes, it’s something normal right know to have a difference multiculturalism in the world and almost every country have those multiculralism things except the small countries, for example the Island because those places not so many people who lives there.

Religious

In United Kingdom, or Britain you may say, the religious hate crimes have rose as much as 600% since the bomb attacks in 2005. And these crimes are mostly against Muslims. US attack 9/11 also became the focus of the attention because of the Al-Qaeda attack on US. They both a greeted war against the middle east countries, but this led some American Muslims to feel threatened, even though Islam is among the smallest religious groups in the country.

Political views and values

British politics of multiculturalism is that the people who have a different culture can settle without expecting them to integrate the society.

this can be some of the misunderstanding problems in the society, it’s good the people have the same values and speak the same language, because this can make the people understand each other and cooperate.

. how can we share the resources in the society? For example: if one doctor who have no children, but work 16 hours every day, and of course he will get earn so much, but some people will think that he doesn’t need to get a lot of money because he only one that is why happen some political problem between the government.

Different values mean that we mean different things are important.

. Nature is important some people who totally don’t agree to cut the tree or etc.

. Religion the God is important in your life, but some don’t believe that God exist at all.

. Culture problems, some people fallow their culture and believe their culture is important to them, but some other people don’t like their culture or maybe they think it’s not something that we need to keep the rest your life.   

. How to raise a child, this is something difficult to every family who came from or have another culture background, because the children will ask you so many question about another culture why she/he dressed or doing things and why I can’t do too those things that my friend doing or have.

. How to spend the money- may be when you are in your homeland you spend a money little money in your daily life that you can keep some, but things will change when you come other country like here Norway, which totally expensive. So, u need to spend more than u do back in your country.

Do they make communication easier or more difficult?

This can make a huge difficult to everyone who have another culture and come a place or country like UK and US.

 The lack of the communication or communication fail we can get terrorism as an extreme result:

Terrorism attack during Ariana Grande concert in Manchester. He was born in Manchester, but his family where from Libya. He suicides bomber, but before he did the attack he was already had a contact during the concert which approves that he was not liked living in UK since 2016. That time he was studying collogue. Some of the teacher who talk to the media after the attack they clearly said he completely changed after he got the study lone. He started to travel and learn how to make a bomb.

David Cameron said when he was talking about state multiculturalism: We failed to improve a vision of society to which they belong. We have been tolerated these segregated communities behaving in ways that run counter to our values.     

Conclusion:

Different cultures meet and mix will always of certain amount of friction. Sometimes sparks will fly and tempers will flare up, but because of these cultures we can gain new insights and see new possibilities. That our society develop.

The writer tells us about how important is to read a book, because it makes you can represent the country for example if you going to have a meeting in front of so many people.  The writer was focused how reading is important in your life, culture and the future of your country. The more you read the more you become a great person who can makes his country and culture to be proud. The education is the key of your life you get to know more important things that your missing. It makes you became a kind and great person. Some of the most important points of this text is when the new school for the social research in New York proved that reading literature improves empathy which is true.

2. second text is complicated but we can understand what the writer means. The text is about how important is to learn and be educated yourself. The people are not the same it is difficult to understand everyone some points that writer talk is that poverty is permanent which is true. Racism will always exist and the Israeli-Palestinian is a difficult to understand. The point is all those things is happening in this world we can’t solve all the problems now may be one day. If we get so many people who educated in this world maybe we can solve of those misunderstanding things going on in this world. Educate and be kind to another, you don’t need to know or speak every language, but have some idea.

The nerd American people who are doing better job than the politics and the other peoples of American.  massage is to those who don’t give any right of nerd people Who more better and understandable than the normal people what they call. These people are more active than the other. So, they need a people who like them to do a better in the society.

Film.                     The reluctant fundamentalist

About the film.

The story of the film is about a Pakistani boy Changez who went to study in America. When I was reading the book of this story I couldn’t understand it’s really complicated when you read, but for sure you will understand when watch[ ing the film, because you can see everything is going on when you watch.

during  his studying, he didn’t have any problems except the cultural difference between his country and America. he was a good student and clever at the same time. After he finished his university he started to work in a company. He had so many friends and he became close to one of his friends. Changez adapted the culture and the people, and he even considers himself as American until 9/11, Which was really a bad day for him and affected him directly.

 How every all most every American people started to hate him even though he was still considering himself as American. His relationship to America suddenly becomes bad. Changez falls in love with a girl called Erica before the terror tack 9/11. He observed during a tack.  Then He released later that he is not American, being in America does not make you be American. Then he started to leave his job and got back to Pakistan, which is where he is from. After he returned to Pakistan he became a university lecturer.

Racism.

During the film the people judge another for example clothes and the skin, but changez he doesn’t mind it and he always ready to explain them, but these form of racism shape changez and his impression of USA. During his job travel in Greece was when he experienced so much hate a racism thing even his friends started to think of him an exotic person.

9/11 Changez encounter more evert and hostile forms of racism In America.

   

As an immigrant.

I think the film can helps you more to know about the racism and cultural difference the two countries.

  the film has the really good story you can see how every is reacting and what is going one I mean it didn’t take you time to figured out what is the story about. U can see the film how to people were nice and suddenly they changed after the attack. No one asked him how he feels or if he is into terror things. they all got crazy every time they saw him.  

 the film shows you the real face of an American people at the same time encouraging you to think no matter who you are if you born in America or become to America as an immigrant you are all the same background.

Conclusion

Its  a little bit boring when you read it as a book, because after u finish one chapter and get started another chapter is totally another story. as a film is really interesting an exciting and the same time but its sad story. Human changes easy. Not only they start chasing the changez but also everyone who came from the middle east.

The changez was telling his story about strange man Who was conscious about the changez and how he suddenly changed himself and even he was looking his beard   and clothes that changez was wearing. We don’t know what was the changez really identity is in the film.

Genre

It’s kind of science fiction its more about religion and cultural difference.

There so many difference actors and people in the movie, some of them they just using some dialect, like main character he is kind talking like British accent while the others are just talking American English and India English.

The watcher or reader- I did both but it more suitable for you if you are interested about the cultural difference and religion.

the typical Indian English is the way they use some words in funny way like

3.       I have a doubt this is another common phrase that Indian use and u can hear from them and this word is used when u suspicious or questions but American English they say “I have suspicious” in Indian English is the same phrase “I have a doubt”

B) Comparing and difference between the two international news channels.

BBC and CNN.

BBC are British Broadcasting Corporation. A British news station which gets funds from the government through a yearly fee that the British citizens provide for the service it is the best media source for accurate depictions of world events.

CNN   Is an American Broadcasting Corporation which is either owned by a conglomerate or by someone whose last name is as infamous as Murdoch. Thus, the news is meant to be "controversial" and is usually handled from a more socialistic perspective than other news stations such as NBC and FOX

   The article that I choose from BBC and CNN

  The News is about turkey nightclub attack. They write something about the attack but they didn’t    explain the same way for example the BBC wrote that so many people dead there they also talk about that person who did this attack and where he is from.

But the CNN talk about a young girl who had a big plan in the future. She wanted to be a dents she  was only 18 she is from Israel and   she went Turkey to  visit her aunt but unfortunately she dead there after she went to the club with her friends to celebrate with the new year

Introduction:





The young people who listen music, check the social media or talk to Phone while doing homework or studying for test. Some young people lose their time for social media. I disagree and I am going to tell you why?





body:



There is so many things u can do instead wasting your time for social media. I don’t mean that we can’t use the social media at all. I Know we are 21 centuries, but don’t lose all you are precious time for this. My refutation is however it takes you don’t use those technologies especially when you are going to have test or homework.





I am a teenage too and I use social media every day except when I am studying. I know it’s hard to stop using it, but time is money and we have only one chance so don’t waste your time. Make a study time and also give less time to other things.

Conclusion

Teach your child to take technology breaks to separate doing homework from using technology. Here's the strategy: After your Child, has worked on his homework without interruption for 15 minutes, he is then allowed a technology break for 2-3 minutes to text and post to social media.



When the break time is up, you instruct him to turn off his electronic devices for another 15 minutes of doing homework or studying. Students can extend their working time to 20, 30 or 45 minutes and perhaps extend their technology break time to 5-7 minutes. If your child complains that the technology break time is too short, you can let him know that when he is finished with his homework, he can use technology for if he wants
